DTF Transfers FAQ

What is a DTF transfer?

DTF stands for direct-to-film. Your design is printed onto film, coated with adhesive powder and heat-pressed onto the garment.

What fabrics can DTF print on?

DTF works on many fabrics including cotton, polyester and blends. Ask us about your specific garment.

Can DTF print full-color designs?

Yes. DTF handles full-color artwork, gradients and fine detail.

Does DTF work on dark shirts?

Yes. A white underbase is printed so colors stand out on dark and light garments.

How do I wash a DTF printed shirt?

Follow the care instructions we provide. In general, turn the shirt inside out, wash in cool water and avoid high heat.

Is DTF better than screen printing?

It depends on your order. DTF is great for multi-color designs and smaller runs. Screen printing can suit very large one or two color orders.

Can I order just a few pieces?

Contact us with your quantity and we will tell you what is possible and quote it.
